Buh last. That is all I can say. We had a blast. Me and 13 of Blair's best friends, bridesmaids and family went to New Orleans for her Bachelorette Party this weekend. We had SO much fun!! We stayed out til 3, up til 5 and partied and ate for three days straight! ohmygosh it was so fun. Blair's friends were absolutely so sweet and so much fun. I am claiming them as my own from now on.
My parents and Jeff kept the kids and then my inlaws and niece (who I really didnt get to see that much :( came in on sunday and were amazing to entertain and keep everything going while I was away. I would literally be lost without them.
We got in and got to open cute gift bags made by mel that had matching shirts homemade by yours truly. We got cups that were personalized and blair got some diamond Vodka. Perfect.
Then we went to eat some delicious cajun food that did not disappoint
and went down to bourbon street to party it up.
and posed with a hand granade, of course
(everyone loves an elephant romper...)
and we got some matching shirts at Pat 0'Brien's
The next morning we went posed with our shirts on our cute little porch,
and in our shirts
(where the nerd glasses had to make their debut)
Lisa was too much fun.
Little CHHS reunion!
and headed out
For our day of eating.
We started at Cafe Du Monde
and we ate Beignets (like Princess and the Frog!)
and then we walked around
and ate some more at Lucy's
it was delish.
Then I went on a quick gambling spree with blair's mom in law, sister in law and my friend kelly. I won/lost $30 dollars a few times and her mother in law won $75 so it was a win/calliteven.
Back to the hotel to get ready after that.
Then, we had Blair's lingerie shower at the house.
Almost Just Married!! SO excited for you blair!!
Then it was time to eat, again!
Brennans was incredible and we pretty much took the whole restaurant from a 4 to a 25. They started in a quiet voice and we brought them to a stadium yelling for your favorite sports team at the championship game kind of voice.
Loved us some bananas foster. I dont know if the fire was safe around us, though...
We went to Maison for a while where kelly was in the band and then back to the cats meow for some karaoke. They did Journey. I mean, do I need to say more?
We ended the night out with a little choreographed dance to get ready for the wedding.
Lisa and I clearly have moves to spare.
It was preeeetttyyy much a great weekend.
I came home and my kids wanted an Adele dance party and the dancing didnt stop for me.
Hope you guys had a great weekend!
