a night at the girl's room

So Lindsay's birthday was yesterday and Kristen and I came in town to take her out for dinner...or thats what she thought:) We had quite the surprise in store for Lindsay and she had no idea, it was such a fun night.
We took her to eat at this fabulous restaurant in Dallas called Horne & Dekker. (thanks for the recommendation Morgan) She thought it was just going to be the 3 of us but she walked into a table with 12 of her closest friends. She was so surprised. Little did she know that the surprise didn't end there...

A few weeks ago Kristen and I started talking about doing something for Lindsay's birthday. We wanted to do something that was different and something we hadn't done before. With help from our friend Blair we came up with the perfect birthday surprise for Lindsay. We went pole dancing! haha! We went to this place in Dallas called The Girls Room for a private class on pole dancing. The Girls Room is a dance and fitness studio created for women. It offers lots of classes like belly dancing, zumba and pole dancing is the newest workout crave so we thought it would be fun to try:) And you know we couldn't have a party without matching shirts. We dyed the shirts pink and put a pole dancer silhouette on the front with Lindsay's birthday date under it. On the back we did another silhouette and under it we put the motto for the girls room.

We also screen printed tote bags and put the shirts inside along with some pole dancing punch for everyone. It turned out to be the perfect little party favor.

It was just the best night! Full of laughs and so many wonderful moments we will all never forget. We all woke up so sore this morning. Turns out it really is a great workout:)

Hi, I just came across your blog and love this post! I am doing the same thing in a few months for my sister's bach party and love the water bottle idea. I'm wondering, where did you get them and what kind of punch did you fill them with? So stinkin cute! Barrett.DanielleN@gmail.com
