personalized teacher gift

Ella is just days away from her summer break starting! I can't believe this is her last week of school.
Ella's teacher is so so wonderful and has really helped Ella come out of her shell this year. I am just so thankful for her. I went with a book theme for the teacher gift.

"A Porcupine Named Fluffy" is hands down my favorite book. I think it is just hilarious. Ms. Tammy is the fun teacher who will sometimes have a cool, inspiring and funny quote as her facebook status. I always love reading them so when I saw this "Great Funny Quotes" book, I thought it was perfect for her. The "Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?" book is a classic and has always been one of Ella's favorites. I know that Ms. Tammy already has who knows how many copies of it, but the one we gave her was a one of a kind for sure.
The last two pages of "Brown Bear, Brown Bear"  are about a teacher and her children. I thought it would be fun to personalize that part.
I found everyone's picture on the school facebook page and then printed them off onto sticker paper. Before I peeled the sticker back off I laminated the top with packing tape.

It took a little bit of time to get all the sizing right but I just love how it turned out. I also changed the wording in the book to say Ms. Tammy instead of teacher and added my in front of children.

This is the version that I ordered from Amazon. It is a slight bit smaller and made fitting the faces on the children much easier.

I hope the kids get a kick out of it when she reads it to the class!
