drivin', playin' and sleddin'

so jeff, the kids and i jumped in the car wed afternoon because the storm was supposed to be really bad between trinidad and denver. it was like record breaking snow and all that jazz, so it was pretty scary, but overall it went great. babies were pretty good and aves was an angel!! they watched movies and colored, and we spent the night in trinidad on wed night and finished the drive on thurs. allison and bob flew out on thurs night and went through vegas (party on!) but their plane was delayed so they didnt get in until 3!! needless to say, we were all soooo ready to be in denver!!

we went to breakfast on fri morning (sans jeff) at mimi's cafe and it was delicious. and they were so gracious about our crazy crew!!

the booths had fantastic snow in their backyard and around the corner from their house so we bundled everyone up and sledded off their mts of snow and down the huge hill by their house. everyone loved it!!! snow is so much fun (and tastes good too).

jeff, the twins and i, went to eat with paul and kristin but everyone else went to monkey business and played around to get out the last bit of steam left in these little angels. they loved it.

after dinner and monkeying around, we helped aly finish up her cookies for the next day...get out of the way suzie homemaker, here we come
