Me, Kristen, Celeste and Ella took a fun road trip over the weekend. Jeff stayed here with Kristen's kids and Bob had to study all weekend, so Ella tagged along with us. She was a trooper and did so great! We headed to Abilene late Friday night. We got there around midnight and picked my sister Anna up from her dorm, hung out with Michael (Kristen's brother) and Carly (Celeste's sister), did a jack in the box run and checked in hotel at 2am! Ella never fused a bit, she loved it. Saturday morning we went to homecoming breakfast and the parade. Running on 3 1/2 hours of sleep we then headed to Colleyville.
Then came Sunday! We put on our Miley Cyrus jeans (which are fabulous and can be bought at your local wal-mart) and headed to American Airlines Center for her concert. We have never seen so much glitter, pink and tutus in one place. We were surrounded by little girls all decked out for Miley. We were by far her oldest fans there, it was hilarious! It was so much fun and she put on a great concert.
We drove back to Lubbock today and had so much fun in the car. Ella watched Mama Mia maybe 5 times while me, Kristen and Celeste sang every Reba song at the top of our lungs. I love car trips like that! 90's country is just the best.

Ella did so great in the car because of Kristen's creative backseat fun, this one was a hit. We called it a bad case of the dots.
If you look closely, you can see Miley floating on a motorcycle. Why wouldn't she?

i have spent the last 3 years trying to deny the catchy-ness of this girl's "music." like almost all pop music in my life, it takes about that long for me to accept that i have the song in my head just as much as the rest of the world. with a heavy heart i will admit i recently downloaded the party in the usa song and have (yes) played it while doing the dishes. **hangs head**
but you guys look amazing- looks like a great party- ella is precious as always- glad she got that dot thing cleared up
