I made Ella her very own booster seat from the book One-Yard Wonders.
I cut two squares out of an oilcloth and sewed them to form a booster seat,
then I put a foam piece inside and filled it with 3 pounds of buckwheat hulls.
Ella helped me clean up the buckwheat hulls that we spilled.
Ella loves that she can read her books in the big girl chair now!

Oh my goodness! So cute!
Super cute! It came out fabulous! Love it!
that is ADORABLE! do you think I could use vinyl? I have a TON left over from recovering the girl's tables and chairs...
Kristen and I were sitting at her house this afternoon discussing how crafty yall are and I made the comment that I LOVE your bosster chair and need one for my pretend child :) Hope you are feeling better today.
how I love this... LOVE it!
I might need that book...
That booster seat is SOOO cute!! My daughter is old enough now that she doesn't need one, but -don't laugh - my 93-year-old grandmother might need one. She has to have a booster seat in order to reach the table, and right now it's just a phone book in a tote bag. She would be so proud to have one made out of pretty fabric!
First of all, where did you get such FABULOUS oilcloth?? I want it. Lots of it.
okay, so my last comment sounded a little funny at the end - I moved that last paragraph from the front of the comment to the bottom but forgot to delete the "first of all". I'm a dork. :)
OH MY GOSH. I'm SO trying this!!!
thanks! And yes, I've scoured the internet for cool oilcloth and I've never seen that print before!
You are such a good mom!
