celebrate 100!

So in the middle of Kristen packing up and moving out of Lubbock, something happened that brightened our day. (which was much needed) We reached a goal that we never even thought was a goal. We got 100 followers! We can't tell you how excited this makes us. Thank you for following along in our crazy lives and thank you for always being so sweet and encouraging about our crafty projects and parties. Reaching 100 followers is big time to us so we would like to show our thanks by celebrating you. We are attempting our first blog giveaway! (not gonna lie, we are a little nervous about this) We have put together a party in a box to celebrate all our wonderful and loyal followers out there. It's cheesy and nothing too exciting but maybe it will brighten someone's day like you guys do ours.

jeffs graduation party

this weekend jeffs parents did the most amazing things. the first one was amazing and changed my life and i will be back with more info about that. the second was throw jeff the most amazing graduation party (whats amazing is how many times i can say amazing in one blog post. this is getting kind of annoying, sorry). if you know jan at all, then you know she is so creative and so many amazing ideas. she used every bit of that creativity in jeffs party.

she set up tables in the back yard and then put vases with flowers and dr supplies in them!

how cute are the pill bottles filled with candy?? sassy loved them. she and ben probably ate 5 bottles apiece.

thank you so much, everyone who came and celebrated jeffs graduation! i know it meant the world to him and it meant so much to me! we are so thankful to have finished the four years of med school, but we know we have just begun to fight. residency, here we come.

good-bye

Kristen and the fam have officially moved. I have spent my fair amount of time pouting this week but, as Patty Loveless would say "time will ease your pain, life is about changing, nothing ever stays the same." (this is the opening song to the good-bye ballads cd I made) Kristen, Jeff and the kids drove to Tyler late Monday night and I still haven't gotten used to them being gone. Its weird. I don't like it.

Before they left, our sweet and very talented friend Brittany took pictures for us. It was such a fun photo shoot to do and we had lots of laughs.

and there was some dancing after the ice cream to work off those calories.

then kristen and i did a little shoot of our own with a tandem bike that unfortunately did not work. but it was super fun to play with.

braid wednesday

when blair was here for the twins party, i braided her and ella's hair. how cute are they???
