ode to nakedness

while going through my pics a while back, i started to realize that i was having to sort through so many where my kids were completely naked or only had one article of clothing on, ie. shirts, shorts, underwear (we will count diapers as close to naked because they are necessary at all times). even when we are taking nice family photos where i am trying to get all three of them in some sort of cute pose or in front of flowers i will completely neglect the fact that at least one of them is naked.

in saying all this i am just acknowledging what really everyone else already knows; my kids are always the emperors without clothes. except they dont mind. they just think nakedness is life. and i really have to agree. who doesn't just love a fat naked baby (and mine are def fat) and a cute naked toddler butt?

overall, i think we will try to clothe everyone as much and often as possible but as eating, diaper changing, dirt playing, chalking, coloring, becoming princesses and kings, and all the other stuff we are doing is happening, clothing will def keep coming off.

i think nakedness is next to Godliness. even more than cleanliness.
